About Josh Gazelka

Faith, Family, Leadership, and Community

I was raised in the Brainerd Lakes Area, where I learned the value of faith, family, and hard work. My Christian faith is the foundation of everything I do, shaping my values and guiding my leadership. My family and I attend The Log Church in Crosslake, where we are actively involved in the church community.

I’ve been married to my wife, Cami, for nearly 10 years, and together we are raising our two beautiful daughters, Isla and Maple. Being a husband and father is my greatest joy, and they are the reason I am so committed to building a better future for Minnesota families.

Professionally, I have always thrived in high-pressure, chaotic situations—because my strength is bringing order and stability when things seem uncertain. As a former small business owner, I experienced firsthand the challenges entrepreneurs face—excessive regulations, high taxes, and policies that make it harder to grow a business. That experience led me to my current role as Vice President of Customer Success at a top national marketing firm, where I help small businesses across the country, including right here in Minnesota, navigate challenges and find success.

Outside of work, I believe in giving back to my community. I’ve fundraised for Lakes Area Pregnancy Support Center and other local nonprofits, advocating for causes that protect life and strengthen families. I’ve been engaged in the Brainerd Lakes Chamber of Commerce, supporting the business community and working to make this region a great place to live and work. And I’ve volunteered on numerous Republican campaigns, fighting for conservative leadership in Minnesota.

I’m also a lifelong outdoorsman. For 20 years straight, I’ve never missed a deer season in November, and I love everything about Minnesota’s hunting and fishing traditions. Our outdoor heritage is something worth protecting, and I will always stand up for the rights of hunters, fishermen, and all who enjoy the incredible natural resources we have in this state.

I’m running for State Senate because I believe in the people of this district. We need strong, steady leadership—someone who will fight for small businesses, protect families, and defend our conservative values. I’m ready to take on that fight, and I’d be honored to have your support.
